Returns & Refund Policy

This policy is in accordance with the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA). Please read the following carefully before making a purchase.

Online Purchases

We offer a 7-day return window from the date you receive your order. Returns are accepted only in the following circumstances:

- The item arrived damaged or defective
- An incorrect item was delivered

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if there is an issue, do not delay.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unworn, unused, and in its original packaging.

To initiate a return, email us at hello@shopstudioslay.com with your order details, the reason for your request, and clear photographs of the item. We will review your request and respond via email. If your return is approved, we will provide the return address at that point. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer. Pack the items securely before returning. We strongly recommend sending returns with a tracked service, as we are unable to process refunds for items lost or damaged in transit.

For hygiene reasons, earrings may only be returned if they arrived damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered, in line with the conditions above.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on sale items or gift cards.

 

In-Person Purchases

If you purchased a Studio SLAY piece at a stockist or at a popup event, please inspect the item thoroughly before completing your purchase. In-person purchases on non-discounted items are eligible for return within 24 hours of purchase, and only in the case of a manufacturing defect.

 

Handmade Products

Studio SLAY pieces are handwoven bead by bead. Minor variations in tension, bead placement, or colour between pieces are an inherent quality of handmade work and reflect the artisanal nature of each piece. No two pieces are identical. These variations are not considered defects and will not be accepted as grounds for a return or refund.

 

Exchanges

Due to the small-batch nature of our collections, we do not offer exchanges. If you have an issue with a custom order, contact us at hello@shopstudioslay.com and we will review your case individually.

 

Order Cancellations

Ready-to-ship orders: Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order, provided the item has not yet been dispatched. To request a cancellation, email us at hello@shopstudioslay.com as soon as possible with your order details. Once your order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled and the returns policy applies instead.


Custom orders: Custom orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been made, as work begins upon receipt of full payment. Please ensure you are certain of your order details before completing your purchase. If you have any questions about a custom order before committing, contact us at hello@shopstudioslay.com and we will be happy to assist.

 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the amount to your account. If 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, contact us at hello@shopstudioslay.com.
