Craftsmanship Warranty

All full-priced Studio SLAY pieces are covered by a 60-day craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery. Within this period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any piece that fails due to a construction defect. This includes:

  • Thread failure at a thread path or tension point within the weave under normal occasional wear
  • A finding that detaches without physical impact
  • Colour loss on plated findings within 30 days of delivery, where the piece has been stored and worn according to our Jewellery Care Guide.

 

How to make a claim

Email hello@shopstudioslay.com within 60 days of your delivery date with order details and clear photographs of the damage. We will respond within 5 business days.

 

What is not covered

Because beadwork is woven glass, certain damage falls outside what any maker can warrant:

  • Physical impact damage, including missing, shattered or cracked beads
  • Damage from exposure to substances contrary to our Jewellery Care Guide
  • Lost pieces
  • Damage arising after the 60-day window
  • Pieces purchased on sale or through third-party resale

 

A note on wear

Studio SLAY pieces are designed for occasional, intentional wear. They are not water-safe, gym-safe, or sleep-safe. Pieces worn contrary to our Jewellery Care Guide are not eligible for warranty claims.

 

Out of warranty repairs

If your piece is outside the warranty period and you would like it assessed, contact us at hello@shopstudioslay.com. We handle repair requests on a case-by-case basis and will confirm whether a repair is possible and at what cost before proceeding. We cannot guarantee bead colour lot matching on pieces more than six months old, or confirm repairs where the original beads or components are no longer available.
